I’m Marianne Spitzform - interspiritual mentor, psychologist, and ecomystic. I live on small acreage in Western Montana with a variety of wild and domestic critters, informed by permaculture and happily close to wilds where grizzly bears and wolves still roam.
In my work I value:
helping you to be at ease in your subjective inner world
accompanying you in learning to listen through the body
assisting you in finding your place in nature and culture and challenging the myth of the separate self
companioning you in spiritual inquiry
creating group space for sharing and connection
deepening appreciation for contemplative practice and silence
reclaiming the Sacred Feminine
nurturing ecological and social balance, honoring diversity, and respecting all beings.
My degrees include a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Theological Studies, and certification in Interfaith Spiritual Direction. Post-doctoral interests have included relational psychoanalysis, mindfulness-based approaches, and most recently Philip Shepherd’s Embodied Presence Process, Internal Family Systems, and Cynthia Bourgeault’s Wisdom Schools.
